Sir Jonathan Mercer CBE
Former Director of Engineering at British Rail, Jonathan co-founded the firm in 1990 and has led it through four decades of growth. A Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a CBE for services to rail infrastructure.
Dr. Eleanor Ashworth
Eleanor brings 28 years of rail consultancy experience, having led major projects for Network Rail, HS2, and TfL. She holds a doctorate in structural engineering from Imperial College London and is a visiting professor at UCL.
Alistair Vance
A Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering with specialist expertise in station canopy structures, historic railway buildings, and complex underground interchange design. Alistair has led structural design on over 60 major UK rail projects.
Dr. Helen Connolly
Helen leads our permanent-way, systems-integration, and digital-rail practice. With previous roles at Atkins and Arup, she brings deep expertise in track geometry, overhead line equipment, and signalling interface management.
Thomas Bretherton
An experienced programme director with a background in NEC contract management and governance. Thomas has successfully delivered over £2 billion of rail infrastructure works on time and within budget.
Dr. Amina Al-Rashid
Amina leads our sustainability practice, advising clients on net-zero rail strategies, biodiversity net gain, and climate resilience in design. She is a member of the Rail Industry Decarbonisation Taskforce.
